We are committed to the belief that exceptional dance training builds enduring life skills. In addition to providing excellent dance instruction, our expert faculty takes pride in teaching children the skills of focusing and commitment as well as the importance of discipline and respect of self and others, valuable skills which will stay with our students for life.

Angel DeSouza

Angel DeSouza has been actively operating Angel DeSouza's School of Dance, LTD. for 24years. She is proud to be the owner and director of one of the largest and most thriving studios in the tri-cities and surrounding areas. Angel began dancing as a toddler and has continued non-stop ever since. She has studied dance continuously in order to keep up with the modern world and the ever-changing industry. She specializes in all areas offered through the studio, and prides herself not only in the skills and techniques of dance, but also the artistry and passion. She has studied under well known dancers and choreographers such as Frank Hatchett, Janice Barringer, and Tom Alexander. Angel cherishes her relationships she creates as a teacher to her students; she prides herself as being a great role model as well as a mentor. One of Angel's most prized accomplishments is being able to set a foundation for her students to flourish and thrive as professionals in the dance industry. Among those accomplishments, there are numerous alumni students that have gone on to open their own studios, students who have moved to Hollywood to pursue dancing careers, students who have gone on to be Master teachers themselves, and students who are now performing on tour as dance captains for today's hottest singing sensations. Many adults that are alumni of ADSD are gainfully employed in the dance industry, even as professional cheerleaders for the Redskins and the Lady Raiders of Richmond. Many of Angel's students have also been candidates for the governor's schools and specialty centers as a choice for a High school, focusing on dance. Angel is so incredibly honored to be able to share her passion of dance with all of her students. She considers herself beyond blessed to be able to make a difference in a child's life through dance. Whether it is building a student's self confidence, or leading a dance team to be nationally recognized, these are the reasons that she will always, "Keep on Dancing."
